Turkey Belly dancing, Bustling bazaars, Bounty-like beaches, they all scream Turkey.
With one foot in the East and one in the West, it's an explosion of cultures and influences and as you can imagine, the
results are pretty amazing. Ottoman mosques rub shoulders with Roman temples, spice markets sit alongside chic boutiques and
dramatic mountains sweep down to sun-baked beaches. Turkey comes out all guns blazing on the sun, sea and sand front with
waters of deepest blue whispering sweet nothings to gold-dust sands.

of Turkey is loaded with so many attractions it's got something for everyone. For starters, its scenery and resorts come
straight from the Med's drop-dead-gorgeous drawer. Whitewashed villages, miles of orange groves and tiny fishing harbours
dozing in the sunshine, not to mention big, booming resorts that mix old-time charm with high-energy fun. But that's not
all, scattered around the region, you'll find mind-bending archaeological sites like Ephesus and Didyma. Then there are
those amazing beaches, burrowed around the peninsula are sweeps of golden sand, smooth pebbly bays and picturesque coves.
Gumbet Gumbet is often referred to as 'Bodrum's beach', offering lazy days on the
beach and a buzzing nightlife. There's plenty of cafes and restaurants with a wide choice of Turkish dishes on offer making
for an alternative to our traditional culinary expectations. On Gumbet's beach there is a wide variety of watersports
to participate in, windsurfing, parasailing and snorkelling to name a few. For those who prefer a more sedate life, sunbathing
is the order of the day with most hotels lining the beach offering free sunbeds on a first-come first-served basis. Gumbet
is a true family resort in its own right and boasts all the attractions of any popular resort, while still retaining the look
and feel of a traditional Turkish village.
Turgutreis A place to chill through the day and
liven up at night. Turgutreis is special enough to attract many visitors back, thanks to its island views of Kos and its great
nightlife. With its extensive beaches and marina, Turgutreis is fast becoming a very popular destination. Shopping is big
business in Turgutreis, with an enormous open market and some of the regions largest shopping centres, you'll never be
at a loss for hunting down souvenirs.
Ortakent The town of Ortakent lies in the centre of
the Bodrum peninsula on the main Turgutreis - Bodrum highway. Boasting a long and wide sandy beach at Yahsi, with plenty of
cool sea breezes, which provide plenty of relief from the high summer heat. Between Ortakent town and the beachfront at Yahsi
a fertile valley is covered with olive and fig trees and the scenery is truly striking.
